Social Marketing
Social marketing is an adaptable approach that can be tailored to different contexts and timescales. Social marketing has key elements in common, notably that its primary aim is to achieve ‘social good’, it uses a carefully planned systematic approach to behavioural change, and it uses a range of marketing techniques and approaches.
Insightful quality research is essential to inform effective social marketing programmes in both the planning and evaluation stages. Litmus works in close collaboration with social marketers and researchers to undertake large and small-scale social marketing research programmes. We have a wealth of experience researching a range of social issues, including healthy eating, responsible drinking, smoking cessation, older people employment, retirement savings, and safe and sustainable transport use.
